Message from The Arc of Monroe President & CEO – Barb Wale:
It’s a New Year and a new beginning for The Arc of Monroe County! 2010 is going to be a year of changes and improvements starting with implementing our new strategic plan continuing to grow with the times and needs of the individuals we serve and their families. Our strategic plan has lead to the The Arc developing new vision and mission statements and revised core values that will be the center of what we do in 2010.
New Vision Statement
The Arc of Monroe enables the individuals we serve to build relationships as part of the community and become as independent as possible. We develop our diverse staff and individuals we serve to take full advantage of their talents and abilities. We encourage families and friends to participate in the journey.
New Mission Statement
The Arc of Monroe provides individualized support and services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families to increase the individual’s independency enhance their abilities to make informed choices, and become part of the community.
