Those who can, do. Those who can do more, volunteer.
At The Arc of Monroe County we value our volunteers. We value all the time and resources given to us from our neighbors in the Rochester Community. The Arc of Monroe County continues to look for volunteers to help within our organization, but we also want to know what we can do for the community. It's our turn to give back, to create not just "the arc" but the full circle of our relationship in the community. We are over 4,000 people strong and we are making an impact on our community. In 2010, members of The Arc of Monroe County Family gave over 13,000 hours in volunteer service to the Rochester Community. Members of The Arc of Monroe County Family have volunteered for organizations such as The Open Door Mission, The Salvation Army, and Meals on Wheels, among others.
