The Jim Mroczek Initiative was named after and dedicated to our immediate past president of 35 years, James G. Mroczek.  The Arc of Monroe provides individualized support and services to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families to increase the individual's independence, enhance their abilities to make informed decisions and become part of the community.

The goal of the Jim Mroczek Initiative is to promote social inclusion.  We want the individuals we serve to be a part of our community.  The Arc offers Computer Tutoring programs, One Good Turn program, which promotes our indivdiuals and staff to volunteer in the community and many more social inclusion opportunities.  The main offices of The Arc of Monroe County have moved to 2060 Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road, Rochester, NY.
