“I was petrified about her going into an adult day program. I wasn’t sure she could handle it. But to me it’s even better than before. I fell in love with the Arc staff and how they greeted me. I liked their welcoming nature and the overall feel of the place. I said ‘I think it’s awesome here.’”

Community Arts Connection
A diverse array of offerings in the arts is offered at this site, located near College Town. A dance troupe, community-based musical group, and programs in the visual, fiber and literary arts make this program best in class. Our instructors encourage creative, original self-expression, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to flourish.
Community Connections is all about building independence and work skills. People at Community Connections volunteer extensively in the community to prepare them for the workforce. These volunteer opportunities build their social and work skills, as well as help them identify their employment interests. The Community Connections program is modeled after a typical workplace, with defined responsibilities and expectations and a collaborative, team-centered environment.
